Program Description

We have openings for two PhD positions with start as soon as possible. We are looking for talented and highly-motivated candidates to join our fermionic lithium quantum gas microscope team and a new cryogenic ytterbium tweezer experiment at the Universität Hamburg and the Institute for Quantum Physics, Germany. The two positions are embedded in the excellence cluster AIM: Advanced Imaging of Matter and include the opportunity to spend a few months at the University of Virginia, USA, before relocating to Hamburg.

Information about our openings are available at the links below and details about my group can be still found at the old website ultracold.phys.virginia.edu. The positions are on the triangular-lattice quantum gas microscope experiment and a new cryogenic optical tweezer experiment.
