Program Description:
The Outreach Design Education (ODE) program is seeking grades 6 - 12 STEM educators to participate in our engineering design course curricula development for middle and high school students. This is a part-time position and is on an as-needed basis.
Responsibilities include:
- Attending the ODE Summer Design Camp to observe design instruction
- Work with the PI to create instructional content for their home school
- Implement the design-centric instructional content during the subsequent academic year with ongoing support from the PI
- Regularly discuss findings and refine course with the PI
- Participate in subsequent check-ins/meetings with PI to assess course development and implementation
