Program Description

The Department of Biomedical Science and Technology, National Sun Yat-sen University, is recruiting two full-time Assistant Professors (or above).

1. Position Title: Assistant Professor or above(inclusive).

2. Qualifications for Application:
I. PhD. degree holder.
II. Minimum of 2 years(including) post-doctoral research experience as of the date of appointment, with preference given to those with overseas research or international collaboration experience.
III. Compliance with the regulations outlined in the 'National Sun Yat-sen University Faculty and Researcher Appointment Rules' (please refer to our university website at https://ope.nsysu.edu.tw/var/file/11/1011/img/902135641.pdf).

3. Anticipated Commencement Date : 2024.8.1.

4. Area of Expertise:
I. Biomedical Electronics can teach courses in: Electronic Circuits, Biomedical Instrumentation and Measurement with Laboratory, Principles and Innovation in Medical Device Design, Integration and Application of Biomedical Sensing Modules.
II. Artificial Intelligent Application can teach courses in: Machine Learning and Implementation, Microprocessors and Embedded Systems, Signals and Systems.
III. Medical Imaging System, Medical Image Processing, AI Medical Imaging Application can teach courses in: Medical Image Processing, Machine Learning and Implementation.
IV. Proficiency in English language instruction is required.

5. Attached Documents :
I. Personal Curriculum Vitae (CV) including awards, projects, patents, and other materials conducive to the evaluation process.
II. List of publications and papers within the past 5 years (including accepted papers), including the title of the doctoral thesis. The bibliography must categorize publications, such as SCIE journals, conference proceedings, books, etc. For SCIE papers, please indicate the journal rank and Impact Factor. If you are the first or corresponding author, please specify.
III. Photocopies of Academic Credentials, along with a copy of the Teaching Certificate (if available; not required if not applicable).
IV. Future Research Plan and Teaching Plan.
V. Names, affiliations, phone numbers, and email addresses of three referees, along with recommendation letters (official recommendation letters are not required at the written review stage).
