Program Description
The position is created to provide graduate-student level assistance on research projects to offer an entering student research experience that could potentially attract the student to conduct their thesis research within a specific group. The student will perform research on non-equilibrium dynamics of quantum gauge field theories. The position requires a completion of BS. Visiting Graduate Student will perform a variety of functions related to research that represent different levels of independence and that contribute to intellectual and professional development. They provide leadership and expertise in conducting complex research activities, including planning, organizing, conducting, and communicating research studies within the overall scope of a research project at Duke University. The above statements describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this classification.
