The Accelerated AI Algorithms for Data-Driven Discovery (A3D3) Institute funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF), under the Harnessing the Data Revolution (HDR) program, is seeking postbaccalaureate research fellows  to join our interdisciplinary teams of scientists and engineers to develop and deploy artificial intelligence (AI) to accelerate science discoveries in particle physics, astrophysics, biology, and neuroscience. We strongly encourage women and individuals from traditionally underrepresented groups in STEM, such as African American/Black, Chicano/Latino, Native American/Alaska Native, Native Hawaiin/Pacific Islander, and Filipino, to apply.

A3D3 is a multi-disciplinary and geographically distributed entity with the primary mission to lead a paradigm shift in the application of real-time artificial intelligence (AI) at scale to advance scientific knowledge and accelerate discovery. The Institute team reflects a collaborative effort of Principal Investigators from Caltech, Duke University, MIT, Purdue University, University of California San Diego, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, University of Minnesota, University of Washington, and University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Postbac fellows will be assigned to one of the projects listed at https://a3d3.ai/jobs.html at one of the hosting institutions based on preferences and availability. Postbac fellows will also have access to professional development opportunities including career guidance and graduate school preparation.
