Program Description

A PhD position in Theoretical Physics at the School of Mathematics at Trinity College Dublin, under the supervision of Andrei Parnachev will become available starting in September 2024.

The position is fully funded and has a duration of 4 years. Research directions include conformal field theory, gauge/gravity duality (AdS/CFT) and string theory.

Candidates must hold an MSc in Theoretical Physics or equivalent (or expect to obtain such a degree by September 2024), and must also satisfy the TCD requirements detailed at https://www.tcd.ie/study/apply/admission-requirements/postgraduate/ by the time of formal appointment by the University (there is no need to present a proof of the English language test scores at the time of an interview).
