This job is a part of research collaboration between Q.ANT GmbH (Stuttgart, and the Quantum and Optical Technology research group at the University of Oxford (led by Professor Alex Lvovsky,

We are seeking a dedicated individual to develop a quantum optical simulator for combinatorial optimization. The selected scientist will be stationed in Stuttgart and collaborate closely with the Q.ANT team of experts to forge innovative solutions in the realms of quantum optics and machine learning.

Required qualifications: - MS/BS in Physics or a related field with a focus on quantum optics, atomic physics, laser technologies, or machine learning. - Hands-on experience with experimental optics. - Strong understanding of quantum physics. - Proficiency in programming, specifically for data acquisition, analysis, and experiment automation. - Ability to work independently and/or under supervision. - Excellent oral and written communication skills. - Fluency in spoken and written English.
