The Experimental Astroparticle Group at the Instituto de Fı́sica Corpuscular IFIC (Valencia, Spain) invites applications for one PhD position starting in 2024, with topic "“Study of fundamental properties of atmospheric neutrinos with KM3NeT”.
The successful candidate must hold a Masters’ degree in Physics, preferably with specialization in the astro-, particle or high-energy physics areas. Prior knowledge of analysis tools such as ROOT, C++ and Python will be appreciated, as well as a good command of English communication skills.
The work will consist of analysis and interpretation of data collected with the KM3NeT neutrino telescope. Successful candidates will develop their analysis framework, participate in academic activities and present novel results to the collaboration and outside. They will also contribute to the data taking and help in the construction and calibration of the KM3NeT detector.

They should also arrange for two letters of recommendation to be sent on their behalf. Applications should be sent preferably before 30/11/2023; later applications will be considered until the positions are filled. Selected candidates are expected to join the group in 2024.
